Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage. If the clannfear moved at least 20 feet straight toward the target immediately before the hit, the target takes an extra 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d8 + 2) slashing damage.

Reflective Hide. When the clannfear is hit by a melee attack, it can use its reaction to reduce the damage done to it by 4 (1d4 + 2). The attacker then takes damage equal to the amount reduced by the attack.

"The feral, beast-like daedra like the clannfear appear in the service of many different Daedric Powers, and may represent common creatures existing like wild animals in the wildernesses of Oblivion."
– Aranea Drethan, Varieties of Daedra

Aggressive and ferocious, the clannfear is a bipedal saurian-like Daedra that resembles a cross between a triceratops and that of a raptor. With bird-like talons, reflective scales, and a hardened bony frill atop its head, this species of Daedra roams the planes of Oblivion as predators and scavengers.

Pack Hunters. Seen to exhibit pack-like tendencies of hunting for prey in pairs or even in small groups, clannfears will often surround and charge at their targets relentlessly. While incapable of communicating, it seems that these packs of clannfears employ a hierarchy similar to that of wolves.

Aggressive Brutes. While showing some semblance of intelligence, clannfears can be trained and even controlled to serve a master who shows great force of command. Higher ranking Daedra or Dremora have been seen to summon and give commands to clannfears, of which they followed implicitly.

Matured and hardened by years of the harsh environments of the various planes of Oblivion in which they dwell, clannfears who live outside of the. control of a master are feral beasts with closely knit packs. Roaming as both scavengers of dead corpses and hunters, clannfears are a constant threat to any who would traverse such places like the Deadlands of Mehrunes Dagon or that of Molag Bal's Coldharbour.
