Saddle Rider. The cavalier has advantage on saving throws made to avoid falling off their mount. If the cavalier fall off their mount and descend no more than 10 feet, they can land on their feet if they are not incapacitated. Mounting or dismounting a creature costs the cavalier only 5 feet of movement, rather than half their speed.

Actions

Multiattack. The cavalier makes two attacks.

Pike. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage. If the cavalier is mounted and its mount has moved at least 30 feet straight toward the target immediately before the hit, the target takes an extra 6 (1d12) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.
