Impenetrible Shell. If the Glyptodon fails a Strength or Agility saving throw against a damaging spell or effect, such as fireball or a dragon's thu'um, it can add half of its Armor Class to the roll, potentially turning the failure into a success.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Shell Defense. The glyptodon withdraws into its shell, gaining a +4 bonus to AC and reducing its speed to 0 until it emerges. It can emerge from its shell as a bonus action on its turn.

Description

A strange sight to outsiders, Glyptodons are large herbivores that roam southern Elsweyr. They are known for their tough shells and peaceful nature, with many people loving the large animals. Usually, when one is attacked, it will hide in its shell until the threat leaves it alone, only attacking if the assault becomes too much to bear. When one is forgotten by a friend, some say that it cries until it is remembered again.
