Oblivial Invocations

2nd-level warlock feature
If an oblivial invocation has prerequisites, you must meet them to learn it. You can learn the invocation at the same time that you meet its prerequisites. A level prerequisite refers to your level in this class.

Agonizing Blast

Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
When you cast eldritch blast, add your Personality modifier to the damage it deals on a hit.

Apex Predator

Prerequisite: 15th level, Pact of the Hunt or Vampire feature
While in your lycan form or as a vampire, at the start of each of your turns, you regain hit points equal to 5 + your Endurance modifier if you have no more than half of your hit points left. You don’t gain this benefit if you have 0 hit points.

Apocrypha's Horrors

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can cast Mora's grasp once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Apocryphic Mind

Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature
You have advantage on Endurance saving throws that you make to maintain your concentration on a spell.

Ascendant Step

Prerequisite: 9th level
You can cast levitate on yourself at will, without expending magicka.

Aspect of the Dreamstride

Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature
You have gained Vaermina's favor. You no longer need to sleep and can’t be forced to sleep by any means. To gain the benefits of a long rest, you can spend all 8 hours doing light activity, such as reading your Black Book and keeping watch.

Azura's Embrace

Whenever you regain hit points, you treat any dice rolled to determine the hit points you regain as having rolled their maximum value.

Baleful Utterance

You speak a single syllable of Daedric, casting the shatter spell without expending magicka. If a creature fails its Endurance save, it is subjected to the spell's normal effects and is dazed for 1 round and deafened for 1 minute by your terrible word. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Beshadowed Blast

Prerequisite: 9th level, eldritch blast cantrip
Once per turn, when you hit a creature with eldritch blast, you can force that creature to make an Endurance saving throw against your warlock spell Save DC or become blinded until the end of its next turn.

Bestial Fury

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Hunt feature
While in your lycan form, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn when you make a claw or bite attack.

The number of attacks you can take while in your lycan form increases to three when you reach 15th level in this class.

Bloodsucker's Fangs

Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Vampire feature
When you hit a creature with your bite attack, you now deal piercing damage equal to 1d8 + your Strength plus 1d8 necrotic damage. If you gained the Claws of the Vampire invocation, and make a claw attack as an action on your turn, you can make one bite attack as a bonus action.

If the target of your bite attack is a living humanoid creature with blood, and if the attack hits, it deals its normal damage, and you gain temporary hit points (minimum of 1) equal to your Endurance modifier.

Boethiah’s Deception

You gain proficiency in the Deception and Stealth skills, and you have advantage on attack rolls against charmed creatures.

Bond of the Relic

Prerequisite: 12th level, Pact of the Relic feature
While someone else is holding or wearing your relic, you can use your action to teleport to the unoccupied space closest to them, provided the two of you are on the same plane of existence. The holder or wearer of your relic can do the same thing, using their action to teleport to you.

Book of Ancient Secrets

Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature
You can now inscribe magical rituals in your Black Book. Choose two 1st-level spells that have the ritual tag from any class's spell list; these rituals needn’t be from the same spell list. The spells appear in the book and don't count against the number of spells you know. With your Black Book in hand, you can cast the chosen spells as rituals. You can't cast the spells except as rituals, unless you've learned them by some other means.

On your adventures, you can add other ritual spells to your Black Book. When you find such a spell, you can add it to the book if the spell's level is equal to or less than half your warlock level (rounded up) and if you can spare the time to transcribe the spell. For each level of the spell, the transcription process takes 2 hours and costs 50 gp for the rare inks needed to inscribe it.

Bound Armor

You can cast bound armor on yourself at will, without expending magicka.

Bound Weapon

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast bound weapon once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Breath of the Night

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can cast fog cloud at-will without expending magicka. When you do so, you can sculpt the fog into simple shapes or alter the area of effect, but it can never fill an area greater than the spell allows. On subsequent turns, you can use your bonus action to cause the cloud to move up to 20 feet along a horizontal surface.

Call of the Wild

Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Hunt feature
You can cast conjure animals once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Chains of Clavicus

Prerequisite: 15th level, Pact of the Chain feature
You can cast hold monster at will – targeting a celestial, fiend (daedra), or elemental – without expending a spell slot or material components. You must finish a long rest before you can use this invocation on the same creature again.

Claws of Apocrypha

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can cast Mora's Agony once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Claws of Hircine

Prerequisite: Pact of the Hunt feature
While in your lycan form, your claw and bite attacks gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls, and are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance.

At 9th level, this bonus increases to +2, and again at 15th level, this bonus increases to +3.

Claws of the Vampire

Prerequisite: Pact of the Vampire feature
Your nails grow long and sharp as talons. Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d8 + your Strength or Agility modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. Because of your claws, you have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.

In addition, your claw and bite attacks gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls, and are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance.

At 9th level, this bonus increases to +2, and again at 15th level, this bonus increases to +3.

Cloak of Peryite

Prerequisite: Pact of the Plague feature
As a bonus action, you can conjure a swarm of buzzing flies around you. The swarm lasts until you're incapacitated or you miss it as a bonus action.

The swarm grants you advantage on Personality (Intimidation) checks but disadvantage on all other Personality checks. In addition, any other creature that starts its turn within 5 feet of you takes poison damage equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum 0 damage).

Once you use this invocation, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Coldharbour's Fury

Prerequisite: 12th level
You can cast ice storm once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Cursed One's Blessing

Prerequisite: 12th level, Pact of the Vampire feature
You can cast stoneskin on yourself at will, without expending magicka.

Daedra's Sight

You can see normally in darkness, both magical and non-magical, to a distance of 120 feet.

Daedric Warrior

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Weapon feature
When you attack with your pact weapon, you can use your Personality modifier, instead of Strength or Agility, for the attack and damage rolls.

Dark Discorporation

Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Vampire feature
As an action, you magically transform into a swarm of bat like shadows. You assume the swarm of bats stat block as if you had cast polymorph on yourself. While in this special form, the swarm appears as shadowy versions of bat, as well as you gain the the following three traits:

  • Amorphous. You can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
  • Shadow Stealth. While in dim light or darkness, you can take the Hide action as a bonus action.
  • Sunlight Weakness. While in sunlight, you have disadvantage on attack rolls, attribute checks, and saving throws.

You revert back to your normal form if you take any damage while in the swarm, you use an action to change back, if you fall unconscious, or are targeted by a casting of dispel magic.

Destruction of Dagon

Prerequisite: 5th level, eldritch blast cantrip
You can channel the fires of the Deadlands through your eldritch blast. When you hit a creature with that cantrip, you can cast fireball as a bonus action, centered on the target.

Once you cast it using this invocation, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Devour Magic

Prerequisite: 9th level, dispel magic
When you successfully cast dispel magic on a target and end a spell that was affecting it, you gain a number of hit points equal to your Proficiency Bonus plus the spell’s level.

Dreadful Word

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast confusion once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Dreamer's Quagmire

Prerequisite: 12th level
You can cast eyebite once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Eldritch Cone

Prerequisite: 5th level, eldritch blast cantrip
When you cast eldritch blast, instead of producing beams, you create a 15 foot cone of entropic energy originating from you. Each creature within this area must make an Agility saving throw against your warlock spell Save DC or take 1d10 force damage. If you are able to produce one than one beam, you increase this damage for each beam you would normally create from casting eldritch blast.

Eldritch Glaive

Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
When you cast eldritch blast, you can choose to instead create an etherial glaive that forms in your hands. Until the start of your next turn, your casting of eldritch blast takes the form of a melee spell attack with a reach of 10 feet. When you reach higher levels, and can shoot additional beams, you instead make an additional melee spell attack equal to the number of beams you would produce.

Eldritch Smite

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Weapon feature Once per turn when you hit a creature with your pact weapon, you can expend a warlock hit die to deal an extra 1d8 force damage to the target, plus another 1d8 per warlock hit die, up to a number equal to your Personality modifier, and you can knock the target prone if it is Huge or smaller.

You can use this innovation a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Eldritch Spear

Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
When you cast eldritch blast, its range is 300 feet.

Elemental Blast

Prerequisite: 7th level, eldritch blast cantrip
When you hit a creature with eldritch blast, you can change the damage type from force to one of the following: acid, cold, fire, or lightning.

Eyes of Apocrypha

You can read all writing.

Expel Daedra

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast banishment once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Far Scribe

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Tome feature
A new page appears in your Black Book. With your permission, a creature can use its action to write its name on that page, which can contain a number of names equal to your proficiency bonus.

You can cast the sending spell, targeting a creature whose name is on the page, without using a spell slot and without using material components. To do so, you must write the message on the page. The target hears the message in their mind, and if the target replies, their message appears on the page, rather than in your mind. The writing disappears after 1 minute.

As an action, you can magically erase a name on the page by touching it.

Fiendish Vigor

You can cast false life on yourself at will as a 1st-level spell, without expending magicka.

Fires of Oblivion

You can cast continual flame at will, without expending magicka.

Gaze of Two Minds

You can use your action to touch a willing humanoid and perceive through its senses until the end of your next turn. As long as the creature is on the same plane of existence as you, you can use your action on subsequent turns to maintain this connection, extending the duration until the end of your next turn. While perceiving through the other creature’s senses, you benefit from any special senses possessed by that creature, and you are blinded and deafened to your own surroundings.

Ghostly Gaze

Prerequisite: 7th level
As an action, you gain the ability to see through solid objects to a range of 30 feet. Within that range, you have darkvision if you don’t already have it. This special sight lasts for 1 minute or until your concentration ends (as if you were concentrating on a spell). During that time, you perceive objects as ghostly, transparent images.

Once you use this invocation, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Gift of Clavicus

Prerequisite: Pact of the Chain feature
Whenever you regain hit points while your familiar is within 100 feet of you, treat any dice rolled to determine the hit points you regain as having rolled their maximum value for you.

Gift of the Depths

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can breathe underwater, and you gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.

You can also cast water breathing without expending magicka. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Gift of the Protectors

Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Tome feature
A new page appears in your Black Book. With your permission, a creature can use its action to write its name on that page, which can contain a number of names equal to your proficiency bonus.

When any creature whose name is on the page is reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, the creature magically drops to 1 hit point instead. Once this magic is triggered, no creature can benefit from it until you finish a long rest.

As an action, you can magically erase a name on the page by touching it.

Gift of the Wild

Prerequisite: Pact of the Hunt feature
You learn the druidcraft and primal savagery cantrips. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known.

Grasp of Molag Bal

Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
Once during your turn when you hit a creature with your eldritch blast cantrip, you can move that creature in a straight line 10 feet closer to yourself.

Hand of Namira

Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature
You can place a corpse’s hand or similar appendage on your Black Book and ask one question aloud. After 1 minute, the answer appears written in blood in your book. The answer is provided by the dead creature’s spirit to the best of its knowledge and is translated into a language of your choice. You must use this ability within 1 minute of a creature’s death, and a given creature can only be asked one question in this manner.

Hircine's Speech

Prerequisite: Pact of the Hunt feature
You can cast speak with animals at will, without expending magicka.

Hunting Grounds Adept

Prerequisite: Pact of the Hunt feature
You gain proficiency in the Nature and Survival skills.

Hunter's Query

Prerequisite: Pact of the Hunt feature
You can cast hunter's mark once without expending magicka while in your lycan form without requiring concentration on the spell. Reverting back to your normal form ends this the spell early. You can’t do so again until you finish a short rest.

Improved Pact Weapon

Prerequisite: Pact of the Weapon feature
You can use any weapon you summon with your Pact of the Weapon feature as a spellcasting focus for your warlock spells or invocations.

In addition, the weapon gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls.

At 9th level, this bonus increases to +2, and again at 15th level, this bonus increases to +3.

Investment of the Chain Master

Prerequisite: Pact of the Chain feature
When you cast find familiar, you infuse the summoned familiar with a measure of your eldritch power, granting the creature the following benefits:

  • The familiar gains either a flying speed or a swimming speed (your choice) of 40 feet.
  • As a bonus action, you can command the familiar to take the Attack action.
  • The familiar’s weapon attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming immunity and resistance to nonmagical attacks.
  • If the familiar forces a creature to make a saving throw, it uses your spell save DC.
  • When the familiar takes damage, you can use your reaction to grant it resistance against that damage.

Kiss of the Night

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Vampire feature
As an action, you can target one humanoid creature that is either asleep or unconscious and make a bite against the creature. You regain 1 expended hit die and reduce your stage of vampirism by one.

You must finish a long rest before you can use this invocation on the same creature again.

Lance of Takubar

Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with your eldritch blast, you can reduce that creature’s speed by 10 feet until the end of your next turn.

Lifedrinker

Prerequisite: 12th level, Pact of the Weapon feature
When you hit a creature with a melee weapon, the creature takes extra necrotic damage equal to your Personality modifier (minimum 1).

Maddening Hex

Prerequisite: 5th level, hex spell or a warlock feature that curses
As a bonus action, you cause a psychic disturbance around the target cursed by your hex spell or by a warlock feature of yours, such as Sign of Ill Omen. When you do so, you deal psychic damage to the cursed target and each creature of your choice within 5 feet of it. The psychic damage equals your Personality modifier (minimum of 1 damage). To use this invocation, you must be able to see the cursed target, and it must be within 30 feet of you.

Mask of Many Faces

You can cast disguise self at will, without expending magicka.

Master of Myriad Forms

Prerequisite: 15th level
You can cast alter self at will, without expending magicka.

Mephala's Whispers

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast compulsion once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Meridia's Light

Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Weapon feature
When you make a weapon attack with your Pact of the Weapon feature, you have advantage on attack rolls against lycanthropes with the weapon. Additionally, when you hit a creature with it, you can deal an additional 2d8 radiant damage. You can deal this additional damage a number of times equal to your Personality modifier (minimum of 1). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Meridia's Protection

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can cast gentle repose at will, without expending magicka.

Miasmic Cloud

Prerequisite: 11th level, Pact of the Plague feature
You can cast cloudkill once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest rest.

Minions of Oblivion

Prerequisite: 9th level
You can cast conjure elemental once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Misty Visions

You can cast silent image at will, without expending magicka or material components.

Molag's Kiss

Prerequisite: 12th level
You can cast vampiric touch once without expending magicka or material components. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

One with Shadows

Prerequisite: 5th level
When you are in an area of dim light or darkness, you can use your action to become invisible until you move or take an action or a reaction.

Otherworldly Leap

Prerequisite: 9th level
You can cast jump on yourself at will, without expending magicka.

Otherworldly Whispers

Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature
You add your Personality attribute modifier to any Intelligence (Arcana or History) checks you make.

Path of Shadow

Prerequisite: 5th level
When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action you can use your movement on your turn to instead teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness.

Peryite's Touch

Prerequisite: 15th level, Pact of the Plague feature
You can cast contagion once without expending magicka or material components. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Protection of the Relic

Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Relic feature
When the holder or wearer of your relic makes a saving throw in which they lack proficiency, they can add a d4 to the roll.

Rebuke of the Relic

Prerequisite: Pact of the Relic feature
When the holder or wearer of your relic is hit by an attacker you can see within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to deal psychic damage to the attacker equal to your Personality modifier (minimum of 1 damage) and push it up to 10 feet away from the relic’s holder/wearer.

Relentless Hex

Prerequisite: 7th level, hex spell or a warlock feature that curses
Your curse creates a temporary bond between you and your target. As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see within 5 feet of the target cursed by your hex spell or by a warlock feature of yours, such as Sign of Ill Omen. To teleport in this way, you must be able to see the cursed target.

Repelling Blast

Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
When you hit a creature with eldritch blast, you can push the creature up to 10 feet away from you in a straight line.

Retribution of Oblivion

You can cast hellish rebuke at will, without expending magicka.

Sanguine's Escape

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast freedom of movement once on yourself without expending magicka. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Sanguine's Guile

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast suggestion without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Sculptor of Flesh

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast polymorph without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Seeker's Sight

You can cast detect magic at will, without expending magicka.

Seeker’s Speech

Your quest for knowledge allows you to master any spoken language. When you complete a long rest, you can pick two languages. You gain the ability to speak, read, and write the chosen languages until you finish your next long rest.

Seeker's Study

Prerequisite: 7th level
Choose one of your skill proficiencies. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any attribute check you make that uses the chosen skill.

You can select this invocation multiple times. Each time you do so, you must choose a different skill proficiency.

Sheogorath's Plight

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast crown of madness without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Shroud of Boethiah

Prerequisite: 7th level
You can cast darkness on yourself without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Shroud of Nocturnal

Prerequisite: 17th level
As an action, you can turn invisible for 1 minute. If you attack, deal damage, or force a creature to make a saving throw, you become visible at the end of the current turn.

Shroud of Shadow

Prerequisite: 15th level
You can cast invisibility at will, without expending a spell slot

Sign of Ill Omen

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can cast bestow curse once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Spellblade

Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Weapon feature
When you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.

At 15th level, when you cast a spell that was produced from one of your invocations, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.

Spiderwalk

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can cast spider climb on yourself once without expending magicka points. Additionally, you ignore movement restrictions caused by webbing. You can't do so again until you finish a long rest.

Tenacious Plague

Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Plague feature
You can cast insect plague once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

The Dead Walk

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Plague feature
You can cast animate dead once without expending magicka. You cast this at a level equal to your proficiency bonus. Once you do so, you can't cast it in this way again until you finish a long rest.

Thief of Five Fates

You can cast bane once without expending magicka. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Thirsting Blade

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Weapon feature
You can attack with your pact weapon twice, instead of once, whenever you take the attack action on your turn.

The number of attacks increases to three when you reach 17th level in this class.

Tomb of Takubar

Prerequisite: 5th level
As a reaction when you take damage, you can entomb yourself in ice, which melts away at the end of your next turn. You gain 10 temporary hit points per warlock level, which take as much of the triggering damage as possible. Immediately after you take the damage, you gain vulnerability to fire damage, your speed is reduced to 0, and you are incapacitated. These effects, including any remaining temporary hit points, all end when the ice melts.

Once you use this invocation, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Vaermina's Dreamweave

You can cast sleep once without expending magicka. You cast this at a level equal to your proficiency bonus. Once you do so, you can't cast it in this way again until you finish a long rest.

Vampire's Charm

Prerequisite: 12th level, Pact of the Vampire feature
You target one humanoid that you can see within 30 feet of you. If the target can see you, the target must succeed on a Willpower saving throw against your invocation save DC or be charmed by you. The charmed target regards you as a trusted friend to be heeded and protected. Although the target isn't under your, it takes the your requests or actions in the most favorable way it can, and it is a willing target for your bit attack. Each time you or one of your companions do anything harmful to the target, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success. Otherwise, the effect lasts 24 hours or until you are destroyed, are on a different plane of existence than the target, or take a bonus action to end the effect.

Once you use this invocation, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Vampiric Escape

Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Vampire feature
When you drop to 0 hit points you transform into a cloud of mist (as in the Shapechanger trait) instead of falling unconscious, provided that you aren't in sunlight or running water. If you can't transform, you are destroyed. While you have 0 hit points in mist form, you can't revert to your vampire form, and you must reach a resting place within 2 hours or be destroyed. Once you are in a resting place, you revert to your vampire form. Your are then paralyzed until you regain at least 1 hit point. After spending 1 hour in your resting place with 0 hit points, you regain 1 hit point.

Vampiric Seduction

Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Vampire feature
You can cast enthrall at will, without expending magicka.

Vile's Deception

Prerequisite: 5th level
You can cast arcanist's magic aura on yourself at will, without expending magicka.

Vile's Gamble

Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip
When you score a critical hit with your eldritch blast cantrip, pick yourself or an ally you can see within 30 feet of you. The chosen creature can immediately expend a hit die to regain hit points equal to the roll + the creature’s Endurance modifier (minimum of 1 hit point).

Vile's Subtle Guile

Prerequisite: 7th level, friends cantrip
When you cast friends on a target, it no longer becomes hostile to you after the spell ends nor does it realize it was magically influenced by you.

Visions of Distant Realms

Prerequisite: 15th level
You can cast arcane eye at will, without expending magicka.

Voice of the Chain Master

Prerequisite: Pact of the Chain feature
You can communicate telepathically with your familiar and perceive through your familiar's senses as long as you are on the same plane of existence. Additionally, while perceiving through your familiar's senses, you can also speak through your familiar in your own voice, even if your familiar is normally incapable of speech.

Voidsense

Prerequisite: 12th level
You have blindsight out to a range of 30 feet.

Voracious Dispelling

Prerequisite: 9th level, dispel magic
When you target a creature with a dispel magic casting, and end a spell affecting the target, you can choose to inflict harmful magic to ravage it. The target takes necrotic damage equal to your Personality attribute modifier plus the spell’s level.

Wall of Gloom

Prerequisite: 9th level
You create a barrier of ominous shadow that obscures vision and deters passage. You can make the wall up to 60 feet long, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick, or a ringed wall up to 20 feet in diameter, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick. The wall is opaque and lasts for 1 minute or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell).

When the wall appears, each creature within its area must make a Willpower saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 5d8 necrotic damage and is frightened of the wall for the duration, or half as much damage on a successful save. The frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

A creature takes the same damage and must save against the fear effect when it enters the wall for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there.

Once you use this invocation, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Warlock's Baleful Incantation

You can cast hex a number of times equal to your Personality modifier (minimum of 1) without without expending magicka.

You regain all expended uses of this invocation when you finish a long rest.

Warlock's Call

Prerequisite: 12th level
You cast sending at will, without expending magicka. If a creature is unwilling to reply, you must make a Personality saving throw against your invocation save DC or take 1d10 psychic damage. Save or fail, you are unable to target this same creature again with this invocation for the next 24 hours.

Whispers of the Grave

Prerequisite: 9th level
You can cast speak with dead at will, without expending magicka.

Witch Sight

Prerequisite: 15th level
You can see the true form of any shapechanger or creature concealed by illusion or alteration magic while the creature is within 30 feet of you and within line of sight.

Witchwood Step

Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Hunt feature
When you gain this innovation you gain the following benefits:

  • You are constantly under the effect of the water walk spell.
  • Moving through nonmagical difficult terrain costs you no extra movement.
  • You can also pass through nonmagical plants without being slowed by them and without taking damage from them if they have thorns, spines, or a similar hazard.
  • You have advantage on saving throws against plants that are magically created or manipulated to impede movement, such those created by the entangle spell.

Written Mysteries

Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Tome feature
When you gain this innovation, a new page appears in your Black Book containing a new spell. Choose one cantrip from any class’s spell list. While the book is on your person, you can cast this cantrip at will. It don’t count against your number of cantrips known. If it doesn’t appear on the warlock spell list, it is nonetheless a warlock spell for you.

You can select this invocation multiple times. Each time you do so, you must choose a different cantrip.
