BR:Conclave of Balance

Wardens from the Conclave of Balance revere plants and the bounties of nature. These protectors of the Green act as gardeners as much as guardians. When vast areas of land are destroyed by natural disasters, unmitigated disease, or the negligent expansion of men and Mer, wardens help regrow and nourish the soil.

Conclave of Balance Features
Level Feature
2nd Leafy Familiar, Oakflesh
6th Green Empathy
10th Oakflesh Mastery
14th Guardian of the Green

Leafy Familiar

When you choose this conclave at 2nd level, you gain the ability to summon a leafy familiar, as though you had cast the find familiar spell. This familiar takes the form of a twig blight. As an action on your turn, you can summon the familiar. If the familiar drops to 0 hit points, it disappears, leaving behind no physical form.

Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.

Also at 2nd level, you can expend one use of your Mark of Balance to gain the benefits of barkskin on yourself for the next hour. When you cast the spell this way, you can do so without requiring concentration.

Green Empathy

Starting at 6th level, you have a supernatural connection with the green, which allows you to be able to have limited conversations with plants. You can question plants about recent events that have occurred in the past day and may be able to persuade them to perform small favors for you, within their limited abilities.

Additionally, you are always under the effect of a detect magic spell when it comes to detecting magical plants.

Oakflesh Mastery

At 10th level, when you use your Oakflesh feature, your hit point maximum and current hit points increases by 20. This increase lasts until Oakflesh ends; your hit point maximum remains the same, unless they must decrease to abide by your hit point maximum.

Guardian of the Green

At 14th level, you gain the ability to temporarily grow and take the appearance of a treelike guardian, covered with leaves and bark. When your Oakflesh feature is active, you can use an Action to assume this guardian form, which lasts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. You undergo the following changes while in your guardian form:

  • You size becomes Large, unless you were larger.
  • Your reach increases by 5 feet.
  • Melee weapon attacks you make in this form are considered magical and deal an additional 2d6 bludgeoning damage.
  • You emanate a magical aura that fortifies the injured. You and allies within 30 feet of you that are below half their hit point maximum gain a number of hit points equal to half your warden level at the start of each of your turns.

Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can do so again.
